His Ministry - His Journey

As a young man growing up in Saginaw, Michigan, Daun-Te learned the virtues of hard work, dedication, and commitment by honing his craft every day under the tutelage of his father. Practice sessions included voice lessons and music lessons which not only gave him discipline but a love for all genres of music. Each night before going to sleep he had to hit all the high notes of seventies greats The Miracles, Temptations and The Dramatics. Little did he know that this was the beginning of a journey that would change the world? At the age of 15 he received his first recording contract with MCA records with the group called “Modern Touch”. After many trials and tribulations at the age of 30 he heeded the call of the ministry and began to use his gift to glorify GOD. This journey has given him a relationship with Christ that reflects holiness, upright living, and a steadfast unmovable kind of faith. Daun-Te‘s ministry has taken him across the globe to spread the gospel to the world. Through television and radio appearances, live performances, and internet buzz he is making his mark in the music industry and his community. Daun-Te has as appeared on The Word Network which reaches over 60 Million homes in 130 different countries and has been a guest on The Bobby Jones Retreat Show in Las Vegas. He has been blessed to share the stage with National Recording Artists Vicki Winans, Dottie Peoples, The Williams Brothers, Jonathan Nelson, Lexi, Steven Herd, Byron Cage, Brent Jones, and Commission just to name a few.
